Loudanium (“the App”) is designed with privacy in mind.
This Privacy Policy explains how Loudanium handles information and documents used within the application.

Loudanium is designed to operate primarily offline.
Documents imported into Loudanium are stored locally on your device.
2. Documents and Content
When you import documents such as TXT, PDF, or DOCX files:
files are processed locally on your device
extracted text is stored locally for reading and playback
reading progress and preferences are stored locally
Loudanium does not upload your documents to external servers for processing in the offline version of the app.
3. Text-to-Speech Processing
Loudanium uses offline speech technology.
Text-to-speech processing occurs locally on your device and does not require internet connectivity for core functionality.
No document content is transmitted to third-party text-to-speech services in the offline version.
4. Local Storage
The app may store the following locally on your device:
imported documents
extracted text
generated audio cache
reading position and progress
selected voice and playback settings
application preferences
This information remains under your control and can be removed by deleting documents or uninstalling the application.
5. Analytics and Diagnostics
The MVP version of Loudanium does not intentionally collect personal analytics or behavioural tracking data.
If diagnostic or crash reporting tools are introduced in future versions, this policy will be updated accordingly.
6. Third-Party Services
The offline MVP version of Loudanium does not rely on cloud document processing services.
Some platform-level services provided by Apple or Google may operate independently according to their own privacy policies.
7. Data Security
Loudanium stores data locally on your device.
While reasonable care is taken in application design, users are responsible for maintaining device security, including:
device passcodes
operating system updates
backup practices
8. Children's Privacy
Loudanium does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect application improvements or legal requirements.
Updated versions will be published with revised effective dates.
